Heads up, Samsung gadget fans: A new device is coming.

The Korean tech giant late Tuesday sent invitations to members of the media for a Feb. 26 press conference. Samsung's event will be held in Barcelona, Spain, a day before the biggest mobile industry trade show of the year, Mobile World Congress, kicks off. That's the same day LG is expected to unveil its latest flagship smartphone, the G6.

But with Samsung Galaxy S8's official launch rumored for April 18, what could Samsung have up its sleeve?

Our best guess: a Galaxy Tab S3. Samsung's invitation doesn't give away too many details, but shows an outline of what is obviously a tablet.

As PCMag's lead mobile analyst Sascha Segan recently noted in his MWC 2017 preview roundup, "Samsung hasn't updated the Galaxy Tab S series in more than a year, and its pen-enabled Note Android tablets appear to have died of old age. Bringing the pen back on an Android Nougat tablet would keep the Note dream alive even though the Note 7 was recalled."

Meanwhile, Segan also noted there are rumors that Samsung "will do some sort of buzzy, early S8 reveal that falls short of a full launch, in part to take the wind out of LG's sails," so we might get some teases about the upcoming flagship.

Meanwhile, if you don't have a flight to Barcelona booked, you can still catch all the action online. Samsung will be streaming its press conference live right here. The event starts at 7 p.m. CET (or 1 p.m. ET) on Sunday, Feb. 26.

PCMag will, of course, be in Barcelona for MWC and the press events leading up to it, so stay tuned for our coverage of all the action. The show officially kicks off on Monday, February 27 2017 and runs through Thursday, March 2 2017.
