Tech we never knew we needed

I was perusing Facebook one day, as I often do on far too many days, and came across a post about a high-tech mousetrap. This mousetrap essentially uses infrared sensors to sense when a mouse gets in the proper place, and then when the sensors are broken it drops a glass cage on the mouse. The mouse can then be released in the wild later on. While the technology behind this isn't necessarily boggling, what is boggling is the fact that this exists. Technology literally permeates more and more of our lives every day.

Kickstarter is full of interesting advanced pieces of technology that simplify parts of life that most people had no idea needed to be simplified. Here are a few of my favorites.

Sense
Sense is a little device that came out last year that essentially monitors everything about your sleep and then tells you what your problems are. Many people do not even realize that they have problems getting quality sleep. They just assume being tired all of the time is part of life. Until Sense came ou. And what Sense does is Monitor everything that happens to you at night and tried to figure out why you keep waking up. It will give you a report every morning. It made over $600,000 because it was such an exciting idea. And most people never even knew that they were having sleep problems until then!

Tovala
Tovala Is another product that most people had no idea that they needed! Has anyone ever thought that using an oven was too complicated or hard? Perhaps not, but nearly everyone has burned something. What this product does is makes cooking even simpler. All you have to do is put any food product in there, and then scan a barcode so the oven knows what is being cooked. It will do all the work from there to make sure everything is cooked to Perfection. So essentially, it saves you from pushing 3 or 4 buttons.

iBlinds
Have you ever walked over to your blinds, pulled them up, and thought, "that was too hard!" Probably not. But that didn't stop the people at iBlinds from fixing the problem. They have automated lines that run from your smartphone. That means you can be sitting in your couch, and raise the blines anywhere in your house. Well it is a pretty cool concept, most people have probably never felt that it was a huge issue to raise and lower their blinds. Another example of Technology fixing problems that we never knew existed.

It isexciting world where we never know what else will come out. Problems that we never knew we had will be solved in the upcoming years. The question is, is it worth it?
