Answer: Body Heat

The Mall of America, located in Bloomington, MN, is one of the largest malls in the world. So large and so frequently packed with visitors (40 million annually), in fact, that it has no central heating system.

Mall architects took into account the heat gained from the numerous skylights, the waste heat from the lighting, and–most important–the enormous amount of heat generated by the tens of thousands of shoppers in the facility at any given time. Shoppers generate so much extra heat that during peak shopping in the winter season (when temperatures dip into the single digits in Bloomington) the Mall actually runs the air conditioning system to keep the facility comfortably cool.
