Tidying and storing earbuds has been a hot topic lately; this polished DIY project turns an acrylic scrap into a stylish holder.

Chris Connors, at Make Magazine, shares his adventure in creating a fun project for his high school students: a laser cut acrylic earbud holders. The article covers the process of creating the project, selecting materials, and which existing earbud projects he wanted to emulate to help the kids understand the design and creation process. If you have access to a laser cutter you can follow along with him. If not, you can use a lighter material than acrylic (like an old club card) and cut the pattern with a razor knife.
