Heads up, Comcast X1 customers. You just got access to Netflix on your living room big screen, and now another streaming app is coming your way: YouTube.

Comcast on Monday announced plans to launch the YouTube app on X1 boxes across the country later this year. When it arrives, the app will let you browse and watch YouTube's entire collection of billions of videos alongside all the regular cable channels and on demand content on your TV.

In a statement, Comcast's Chief Business Development Officer said the move to embrace another streaming option is all about offering customers convenience.

"We are excited to partner with Google to bring YouTube to X1 and provide our customers easier access to all the content they love in one place," Schwartz said. "By integrating YouTube into the X1 experience, viewers can simply and effortlessly access videos on any topic, from cooking, to beauty and fitness with just their voice."

The app will live alongside Netflix, Pandora, Facebook, and Instagram in the Apps and Networks sections of X1. Launching it will be as easy as saying "YouTube" into the X1 voice remote. You'll also be able to browse featured YouTube content alongside other On Demand movies and shows.

If you're looking for something specific, just say "Show me Adam Levine clips from 'The Voice' on YouTube" or "YouTube, find 'The LEGO Movie' trailer." The app can also accommodate general queries like "YouTube, show me chicken recipes" or "Find yoga videos on YouTube."

You'll also be able to sign into your existing YouTube account to access your personalized settings and subscriptions, so you never miss a video from your favorite broadcaster and can now watch them on a bigger screen.
