Months after iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus launch, rumors of iPhone 8 are so prominent in the forums and Macworld that one cannot ignore but wonder what the new generation of Apple phones will be like. Indeed many of the leaks and pictures make the rounds weeks before the launch, but iPhone 8 is touted as the game-changer majorly for its camera will be even better than iPhone 7 Plus's dual portrait zoom camera. Apple is disappointed at not being able to sell as many devices as it hoped for and it is no longer leading the market. With Google and Samsung hurting it directly in its major markets by gaining more share and fandom, it has to launch a spectacular device or get pushed to the bottom like Nokia or Blackberry.

iPhone 8 Glass Models
Many rumors about iPhone 8 camera are heard of post its launch announcement and how relevant these speculations are will be revealed in the fall of 2017. People are presuming that iPhone 8 will be released in three glass models with flat display: 4.7", 5.5" and an OLED one of unspecified dimensions. While the 4.7 inch will have a single camera, both the 5.5-inch model and OLED one will have dual lens camera. The dual camera lens will only appear in the high-end models (also based on other specifications) of iPhone 8 phones and would charge premium pricing for the same. For better protection of camera and display, the glass models will be guarded by steel and aluminum body as per its design requirement.

A Special Gadget for Photographers
iPhone 8 models being futuristic in nature are assumed to include Optical Image Stabilization for both wide angle and telephoto camera lens. Currently, this feature is seen in high-end iPhone 7 (iPhone 7S) models but only for wide angle lens. And to say the least, the results are remarkable and so is the user response. This addition will significantly enhance the optical and zoom quality of the camera making it ideal for users who are inclined towards photography. It goes without saying that the different price is directly proportional to feature addition for any given model.

iPhone 8 3D Camera Possibility
If industry rumors are to be believed, Apple will join hands with LG Innotek in creating a revolutionary camera module that will support 3D photography. Based on Apple's LinX acquisition, both the companies are trying to brainstorm ideas and are in their implementation stage to find out likely results. Well, with LG Innotek being the exclusive supplier of Apple's iPhone 7S dual camera lens, it should not be a challenge for them to take the next leap. LG Innotek hadn't ventured much into 3D technology since the LG Optimus Smartphone episode back in 2011. On the other hand, Apple is toying around with ideas of creating its dual camera lens and foraying into AR and VR space with its upcoming model.
iPhone 8 or iPhone 7S whatever the new release from Apple is, it will be joyful and disruptive if these rumors are true. Apple has its work cut out for the next release and users have to wait for the next big gadget upgrade of 2017 patiently.
