Earlier this year we shared a humorous video focused on what Super Mario Bros. would be like if the brothers had Portal guns. Mari0 takes the idea and turns it into a real game.
Currently under development, Mari0 is an open-source platformer that takes the Super Mario Bros. and arms them with portal guns. The game supports map packs, has a built-in level editor, and supports simultaneous multiplayer. Normally we’d wait to highlight a game until a public release is available but the demo video of the game was too good to pass up. We’ll keep you posted when the game is released for public consumption.
