Friday Fun: Tiny Piranha

If you have had a long week then you are ready to relax for a bit while finishing out your Friday. Today we have the perfect way for you to take a bite out of that stress with Tiny Piranha.

Tiny Piranha

The goal of the game is to survive the journey from the Water Fall to the Great Lake without being eaten by a bigger fish. Each step of the journey consists of one day in each of the water areas along the way. The only instructions that you need to play the game is to use the mouse to move your piranha through the water.

At the beginning of each day you will be shown the site map and your current water area location with a red arrow.

Next you will be shown relevant information for that water area (i.e. falling items to watch for or fish to avoid).

On the right side of the screen you will see your remaining lives and the food meter. Start moving the piranha back and forth to find food while avoiding being eaten yourself.

Besides the extra life and temporary shield items you will also want to watch for stars as you swim. Each of these items make you stronger, help protect you from larger fish, and give you bonus points.

Definitely not a good time to become another fish’s lunch! Keep going until your food meter is completely filled.

When you finish a level you will be presented with your current score, bonus points awarded, and your remaining lives.

Once you get to the Fishing Quay (Day 4) things start to get really dicey for your little piranha.

Note: By the third level you can start to eat the bigger fish from earlier levels (be careful which ones you try to eat though!).

Now not only do you have to watch out for and avoid bigger fish but also the humans trying to catch you.

Whenever you finish the game (or the bigger fish finish you) you will see your final score and have the chance to submit it or return to the main screen (Exit).
