This week’s game starts off simple enough, but will quickly challenge your problem solving skills as you work to fill in the hex chains with color on each level. Do you have the patience and skill to succeed at this wicked brain-teaser or will you end up screaming in frustration and defeat?

Hexep comes with thirty levels of puzzle solving goodness waiting to drive you crazy…and rest assured that the higher levels will do just that too!

The first two levels work as tutorial type levels and let you start getting used to how the game works. Simply hover your mouse over the colored hex and move it towards silver (uncolored) hexes to color them in. As you move your mouse over silver (uncolored) hexes, they will automatically switch over to matching color filled hexes. Continue on until all the hexes are colored in on each level, but remember that you can only use/touch each hex once unless specially marked with unique symbols (see below).

The third level is not bad…you just need to move in a circular style loop at the end of the hex chain to beat this level.

The fifth level introduces the first of the unique symbols on hexes. Here you can see a smaller hex symbol inside the larger one and it indicates that you will need to use/touch that particular hex twice in order to fully color it in. You can see the solution to this level in our screenshots here…

Level six introduces two separate chains of hexes for you to color in…you can choose to do either one first followed by the other.

Level seven adds sequenced numbers and multiple starting colored hexes. You need to color in the numbered hexes in sequence by planning out the best route to move through the hex chain. Start with the colored hex in the upper left portion of the chain, fill in the hexes including the numbers 1 and 2, then use the secondary colored starting hex (lower right corner) to finish things out.

Welcome to level ten with lots of ‘double’ hexes and sequenced numbers…with a little bit of patience and careful planning you will beat this level as well. Good luck and have fun!
