This week’s game is all about blocks…lots of blocks. Your objective is to move the blocks into chains of three or more to clear the level with a minimum number of moves. It all seems simple enough at first, but are you up to the challenge that awaits you?
Blocks
There are a total of one hundred levels to play in this game, but you will have to earn access to each subsequent set with a minimum number of stars gained during game play. You can see in the screenshot below that a minimum of twenty stars is required to unlock the next set. The next two increments are fifty and eighty stars to reach the third and fourth sets, so make sure to earn as many stars as you can!
Note: You may want to disable the sound and music before going further using the two control buttons in the upper right corner.
The first few levels work as more of a tutorial as you become familiar with game play and the types of ‘block movements’ allowed in the game.
To move the blocks left click on them and hold down as you drag the blocks to the desired position. Let go when you have finished moving them. Now for one quick move to the right…
When blocks form chains of three or more they will disintegrate as seen below. You can undo a move if needed using the lower button in the upper left corner. The top button will let you restart the level if desired.
At the end of each level you will be able to see if you earned a star or not, return to the level selection area (menu), or move on to the next level.
During the early levels you will encounter more instructional hints such as pulling blocks sideways so that they drop and form a chain, making blocks switch places, and more.
Here is a sampling of the levels that you will encounter as you progress through the game. There will be a varying number of moves allowed per level and still be able to earn a star…quite a few will only allow one move before losing a star, so think carefully!
If you exceed the number of moves allowed on a particular level, then you will be offered the opportunity to try that level again.
There will also be times when you fall just one move short of earning a star, but that will not stop you from moving on to the next level. This can be very helpful if you encounter a difficult level and want to continue on rather than play the level again. Good luck and have fun!
