Heads up, Xbox fans: Microsoft today announced plans to add seven more titles to the Game Pass catalog next month. Redmond also this week revealed the list of titles Xbox Live Gold members will get for free in July as part of Games with Gold.
Let's start with Game Pass. Next month, Microsoft plans to add to the Game Pass catalog: the zombie open world survival classic Dead Island Definitive Edition, third-person shooter Resident Evil 6, racing game F1 2015, single-player survival game The Flame in the Flood, action platformer Guacamelee: Super Turbo Championship Edition, 2D platformer Bard's Gold, and action strategy title Monaco: What's Yours is Mine.
Microsoft earlier this month promised to add at least five new games to the service every month. Some games will also be removed each month.
Launched on June 1, Xbox Game Pass is a digital gaming subscription service that gives you access to more than 100 titles from the Xbox 360 and Xbox One libraries for $9.99 per month. You can also get a 14-day free trial to see if it works for you, and if you like any games enough to buy them, expect a discount on the listed price. Head on over to xbox.com/gamepass to start your free trial and see the full list of what's being offered.
Now on to Games with Gold. On Xbox One, Live Gold members will receive the open world adventure title Grow Up, normally priced at $9.99, for free during the entire month of July as part of the program. Multiplayer racing game Runbow, which would regularly set you back $14.99 , will be free to download from July 16 to August 15.

Then, from July 16 through July 31, you'll be able to download the $19.99 action-adventure title Lego Pirates of the Caribbean: The Video Game completely gratis. Like usual, you can play both of these Xbox 360 titles on your Xbox One, thanks to the console's backward-compatibility feature.
Games with Gold first launched in the summer of 2013, offering free games every month to those with an Xbox Live Gold subscription (which will set you back $10 a month or $60 annually).
