For times when you want to share a more polished video with your followers, you might want to check out Apple's new Clips app. Announced today alongside an updated iPad, Clips lets you combine video clips, photos, and music into a complete video that you can upload to your social network of choice.
People familiar with Apple software will likely think immediately of iMovie, the video editing app available on mobile devices as well as macOS. But Clips has a few features that iMovie doesn't, and it's geared toward people who aren't interested in learning the ins and outs of non-linear video editing.
The "Live Titles" feature in Clips will let you create animated captions and titles entirely through voice control. As you speak, captions are automatically generated, and you can later add text, punctuation, and (of course) emoji.
