LAS VEGAS—Acer is using CES here to unveil new Predator gaming laptops, a Chromebook, and a display, with more planned for 2017.

Two new models join the Predator lineup, with the addition of the Predator 21 X, a high-end laptop with a curved 21-inch screen, and a refreshed Predator 17 X set to launch this year.

The 21 X will feature dual Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 graphics cards in SLI and an overclockable Kaby Lake Core i7 processor, 64GB of memory. It can hold up to four 512GB solid-state drives in RAID 0, and up to a 2TB hard drive. The centerpiece curved IPS display bears a 2,560-by-1,080 resolution. There are several engineering features to improve cooling and airflow, and it includes other extras like a full-size mechanical keyboard with Cherry MX Brown switches and a numeric keypad that can be flipped over and used as a Precision Touchpad.

The system can hold a maximum 64GB of memory and up to three solid-state drives in a RAID 0 array. The 17-inch display features In-Plane Switching and G-Sync technology, and can be configured in full HD or 4K.

Available in February, the Predator 21 X is priced at $8,999, while the Predator 17 X will be available in January starting at $2,599.

The Predator Z301 display, meanwhile, brings eye-tracking technology that can rotate the camera as the player's eyes move toward the screen's edges. The display itself is a curved, ultra-wide full HD screen with a 200Hz refresh rate. It's priced at $899 and will be available in Februrary.

Chromebook 11 N7

It's been tested to meet MIL-STD 810G military standard for durability, including bumpers to protect from drops. It also includes an anti-slip pattern and a spill-resistant keyboard.

Equipped with an Intel Celeron dual-core processor, Acer claims 12 hours of battery life. The Chromebook 11 N7 starts at $229.99
