Student-built Wi-Fi Tank Deploys Wi-Fi Where the Going Gets Tough

Awesome tank-fabrication aside, the project has a rather neat element. The operator boots up the tank and a Wi-Fi enabled control tablet to establish the first segment of the network. They can then control the tank via the first Wi-Fi link and use the tank to recon ahead and deploy Wi-Fi repeaters right off the back of the tank to continue extending the network.
