Google Wallet Rolls Out on Sprint Network; Works with Visa, American Express, and Discover

Earlier this year Google announced their Google Wallet initiative; now they’re rolling it out to Android phones on the Sprint network.

The application is available for Sprint phones with near field communication (NFC)–in this case the Nexus S. The system allows you to use your phone to pay for things at retailers which support near field communication payments (such as Mastercard’s PayPass readers).
